Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) and Kawai Australia are offering Australian pianists the chance to win one of two Kawai pianos, to celebrate the release of the new AMEB Piano Syllabus and Series 18 publications!
To win a:
- Kawai ES110 portable digital piano—enter a Level 1 piece (Preliminary to Grade 4)
- Kawai K-300 upright piano—enter a Level 2 piece (Grade 5 to Grade 8).
To enter, record a video of yourself playing your chosen piece from a Series 18 Grade Book and upload the video via the
piano website.
The competition is open until 31 October 2019, and winners will be announced in November 2019.
Entrants should note:
- A panel of expert judges will watch every video and assess them against the
Competition assessment criteria (PDF, 85KB) and select a winner from each Level.
- Only pieces from the AMEB Series 18 grade books will be eligible. You may only enter one competition category, either Level 1 or Level 2; however, you may enter as many pieces as you like within your chosen level.

- Level 1—Preliminary to Grade 4, age limit: 14 and under.
